A Day in the Life of a Troll

A Day in the Life of a Troll

A Poem by Franklin...
"

Title says it all.

"

Who's that clop-clop-clopping on my bridge?
I swat at a buzzing midge.
The grass may be greener on the other side
But this noise I just cannot abide!

I'm not simply a dirty unwashed troll
I'm an unquestionable menace on patrol!

Your hooves doth offend my ears
For this I'll bring you to tears
I'll rip you limb from limb
My bloodlust you'll not dim

My teeth may be broken and yellow
But your blood will run cold at my bellow!

I'll bite off your head
Then at long last you'll be dead
And all will once more be silent
And I won't have to be violent

All alone under my bridge
Just me and that blasted midge!
