Never Say Never

Never Say Never

A Poem by Franklin...
"

I know this whole theme has been done to death already, but hey.

"
The walls close in and the floor drops away
The specters spin about you with mocking things to say
The abyss opens in your chest and your heart sighs
The black mist of dispair falls upon your eyes

And in this state, when sorrow seems to reign
And your soul feels immutably shackled to the pain
And you think you will never know freedom
And this is all so much you'll never overcome...

Don't ever say never, no, Never Say Never
Though it seems these chains you cannot sever
Every tomorrow is a new and unfinished page
All that you'll ever need to shatter this cage

Noone said this fight would be easy or fair
But there is always a chance if you're willing to dare
This could be the beginning, this could be the end
This could be the cut, this could be the mend

Don't even stop to think or do the math
Just open your eyes and choose a path.

Very nice. I don't feel it has been "done to death," lol. and even if it were true, you breath new life into it with your words. :)
