Chapter 1

    Suika looked at her pups; a brute and a she-wolf. "You, I shall name Kunra," she
said to the brute, "And you I shall name Shikyla." She licked Kunra and Shikyla, feeling
proud of who they would  live to be. She never thought that one might not make it to the
point she wanted them to be at. Suika's mate, Ralu padded into the den. "Great, pups." he
growled. "Are either happy-rats? Hope not both." Suika shook her head. The pups were tied
in strength. Shikyla padded up to her father and sat down next to him. Kunra sat down on
the other side. "They're fine." he said, then padded away.
    The pups started to act lke thier parents. They could identify a happy-rat easily
and all the other pups  were afraid of them. A small black pup padded up to Kunra. She
stared sadly at him, saying nothing for a while. Finnaly she spoke, "Hello, my name is
Spyrina,what's yours?"
