A Tired Feeling

A Tired Feeling

A Poem by Mr. Lou

A stinging pain in my head
A physical symptom of exhaustion
Tired of the Earth's structures
and motions
The marching 'individuals' look
to me
pointing a crazed finger like
I'm the crazy one
Wish I had some liquor
That and Lighter fluid
Watch the world turn red
and I get hammered
Red-nosed till the universe
collapses
That horned guy in the bible
don't sound too bad
From this view He looks like
the one who gets it
Wonder if He likes whiskey?
No matter
Its all still here
All that garbage and no
garbage man coming

this was a great write, I like the attitude you portray, and the fatigue, structures closing in, a glimpse at the world from where you stand.... very well written.
