Becoming Undone

Becoming Undone

A Poem by Mr. Lou

"I Love your eyes my dear,
their splendid sparkling fire,
when suddenly you raise them so,
to cast a swift embracing glance,
like lightning flashing in the sky,"
These were my first thoughts,
when you came to my eyes,
and spiraled me to heavens
inner.
Hands of golden stroked my
cold soul,
and gave a warm breath on my
stone heart,
cutting the strings between
affliction and I.
I could never offer the world to
you,
never return in hand what gift
you threw upon me.
Maybe that reason caused my dismay,
Giving death my address.
I could not give much and you cut
me with your mouth and eyes,
A beggar who insults a goddess with
poor sacrifice,
now I spend my days with your shadow,
losing my sanity.
I miss you darling,
but my words die in walls.
I gave into Gods gift to man,
not knowing the traps inside,
paying the price with blood and joy,
little by little I will I give.
I can say I reached for the stars,
playing the game of hearts,
and now I stand scarred.
afraid if I will ever reach such heights
again.

this was quite perfect.... suffering the price for love and it's never felt so good... it flowed so easily that I didn't even realise I was reading a poem and the ending came quicker than I had prepared.
