Right Here

Right Here

A Poem by Kayla G
"

Sometimes, when life's got you down, all you need is that one person who can make everything alright again.

"

Hey, buddy, pal, chum
Why do you look so glum?
Is it the words tearing you apart?
It's okay, don't take it to heart

You are a gem, a jewel, a star
Shining wherever you are
So don't let the teases and taunts get you down
Just take my hand, we'll get out of town

Go here and there, have a look around
Until you're feeling fine and off of the ground
If you need help standing, I am right here
So throw away the doubt and the fear

Don't list to them, because they don't know you
They don't know your great in all that you do
You can say that I'm lying - that you're not great at all
But I still refuse to let you fall

You can hide in the dark, ignoring my calls
I'll be on standby, waiting for the walls
To come tumbling down, allowing me to go through
Because I will always be there for you
