Kill on SightA Poem by Denali WolfeA short tale of an assassin and he stalks his target.Dark surrounds the path I tread, I yearn for light to shine ahead, But even the smallest tint, Would give a hint To the one who’s fled. My prey is full of fear, It’s every move I hear, Its breath is sort and fast, And reminds me of the past Hunts when I went looking for the deer. But those creatures are now gone. Now my hunts have been made long. Every new face that I see, Could be my target soon to be. With their last words for a song. Steel, find your place tonight. Aid me in this fight for right. Don’t bother with second glance, When these villains had their chance. Kill on sight. Kill on sight. © 2013 Denali Wolfe |
