No More

No More

A Poem by Dark Waters
"

"Pain is no more."

"
Rain falls to the floor.
It patters on the door.
The clouds cover the sky.
The animals try to hide.
There's a girl in her room.
She's alone, waiting for her doom.
Her tears fall from her eyes,
Her only hope is to die.
She listens to the rain.
She feels so drained.
Nobody hears her scream,
It all feels like a dream.
She holds a knife in her hands.
This is her only chance.
A chance to end her life.
A chance to use that knife.
No more Pain.
She wont see the light of day.
Blood starts dripping,
She began falling.
Life leaves her eyes.
Her mom comes, and she cries.
The girl lays on the floor...
Pain is no more.

I like how you created a tone with the rain at the beginning and then led into the actual theme. All starting with just a single chance, unbearable pain, and finally the courage to scream 'no more' so loud that nothing remains.

You've portrayed this sad truth well. It's an amazing work. There is only one thing I saw (a typo nothing more) and that is "She won't see the light of say." I believe it was meant to be 'day'. Other than that this is very heartfelt and beautiful, yet painful. Keep writing.
