blood moon

a poem i wrote bassed on the goddess of the moon in which i named luna (latin for moon)

blessed by luna

yet red as blood

it captivates all

till night end

 

blood from wars

show upon its face

battles showing no disgrace

in the eyes of warriors

 

bonded to the night

with no worry

it seeks no pain

it has no anger

 

but it shall bleed for all

for it mourns

for it seeks

for what it is

 

blessed luna

for the moon is hers

yet she gives it to us

the moon is our gift
