"Loved turned Tolerance"

"Loved turned Tolerance"

A Poem by MarkGMelvin

Unanswered silent screams

an island stranded

hailing to a mirage

a fading apparition,

Unresponded desperation

the terror of an unknown

an abandoned mind,

Dedication to known

aspiration to detail

the more advances made

the less and less

progress

prevailed,

As the pot simmers

low and slow

unattended until it is

dry split cracked and

broken,

For no use

anymore

only sat to the side

or discarded,

Only kept around

for sentimental

reason

presently

for

no

good

use.
