... i am instantly reminded of what jack nicholson types in stanley kubrick's "the shining" ... and the moment at which it is discovered ... and how nothing seems to point to the moment ... and yet how ... when the moment of truth happens ... it seems like the most logical thing to have happened ... even though it's a surprise ... this verse is biting ... this verse is brutal ... this verse is distressing ... this verse seems like a plea for help ... i can actually say with a lot of confidence ... that if it was written by someone i knew and was connected with ... someone whose phone # i had ... i'd have called right after reading this ... this verse is that powerful and that moving ... :) ...

the title caught my attention - of course it did - who hasn't heard paul and art's legendary song! and i am stumped speechless after discovering the rest!!
and i am left wondering....how dark is dark?
