Mister PerfectA Poem by wizzawizI met someone today. The classic Mister Perfect: Tall dark and handsome, With glittering eyes and a smile which lit up the room. Dressed to kill with a well cut jacket, shirt and trouser combo That looked like it came straight from the catwalk. We got talking about who knows what; There were laughs aplenty, and I’ll admit I may have fluttered the eyelids a little more than was strictly necessary. I’m sure you’d forgive me: I couldn’t stop myself. Another guy passed by And a flash of recognition crossed his face. They greeted each other with a hug; It’s nice when a man can show some emotion. When the hug turned to a more romantic embrace I could have died. Looks like it’s true: Mister Perfect ain’t looking for me, He’s looking for Mister Right. © 2011 wizzawizAuthor's Note
