Fashion doubles

Fashion doubles

A Poem by wizzawiz
"

A couple of fragments that started with the same concept and I'm not sure I ever really completed either of them. Thoughts?

"

Look at all the couples

Walking down the street

Tight-fit jeans and skinny tees

Converse on their feet.

Listening to shuffled songs;

All the world’s a stage,

Looking for a cheap night out

For their measly wage.

Watch as all the fashion doubles

Walk along the street.

Matching jeans and skinny tees;

Converse on their feet.

Trackie bottoms

Caps and f**s

Rip-off labels

Cheap price tags

Topshop sweethearts

High-street glam

Heels too high?

Don’t give a damn.

Tango’d tan

And just one aim:

Too many starlets

With no claim to fame

I thought that this poem was good and it really showed how people act when they are new couples living in a blissful world. I like all of the description as well.
