Chapter 3: So Are The Cullens?

Chapter 3: So Are The Cullens?

A Chapter by Twilight Mega Fan (Evelyn)

I still wasn't sure about the Cullens. After all, they seemed strange. Like no one had ever put them down, like they were then, now, and will.

I woke up really early the next day. I had nothing to do until I had an idea.

I opened my laptop and turned it on. I got on google.com and searched 'Cullens'.

A Quileute Legends website popped up.

Just for laughs, and then back to buisness. I thought.

I scrolled down the page and quicly learned that the Quileute tribe lived in La Push, just a few miles down the way.

In the search toolbar for the website, I typed 'Cullens' again.

I read the ad that popped up:

We, the Quileute tribe, believe that bloodsuckers, (better known as vampires) live near our land.

The closest bloodsuckers are the Cullens; Dr. Carlisle, Esmee, Rosalie, Emmett, Alice, Jasper, and Edward Cullen.

They are different though, they do not drink human blood, only animal's.

The treaty that we made says if they bite a human, we kill them.

Edward, believed to be 108, has found Isabella Swan and will never let go of her.

                La Push

Oh my gosh. The Cullens were...? Vampires? No!

I dashed down the stairs, still in my pajamas, and ran toward Bella's.

"Evelyn," Bella yelled from her door before I could ever get to her.

"Yeah? I was just coming to talk to you." I let the words rush from my mouth.

"Our internet innersepted. Why were you searching the Cullens' background?" Bella seemed worried.

"I wanted to know more about them! I thought I could go to google and find more out. But I found the La Push legends and... why? How?" I rushed again.

"I can't tell you anything. I honestly... don't know." Bella gave me a reassuring look.

"Well, I need to know." I declared, ignoring the startled look Bella wore now.

"After school, I want to introduce you to my friend, Jacob Black." Bella smiled warmly.

"No!" I nearly yelled. "I mean, he's who posted the blog about them." I nearly mouthed. "He suck at writing, too." I added.

"Do you like scary movies?" Bella asked, completely out of the blue.

"Love them?" I gave her the, what in the world look.

"Oh, then you're going to love it here." She mumbled.

School was different today; Edward and the other Cullen kids weren't there.

"Dr. Cullen and Mrs. like to take them out on warm days." Eric informed me.

"Lucky," I groaned. "What's the deal with Bella and Edward? I had heard the were insperable, but since I got here, they haven't been... together, you know?"

"They got into a fight Sunday night. After their dinner." Jessica gushed.

"Really?" I muttered. "They seemed fine before they left."

"It was over you." Mike said.

"Crap," I choked on my pizza crust.

"No, not like that. Edward doesn't exactly... think you're... correct." Bella sat down next to me with her lunch tray.

"I'm not correct?" I felt a twist of pain.

"He thinks of every girl... whose hair blows in the wind... that wears strong perfume... that way. It'll wear off." Bella tried to pick the right words.

The bell rang. "Well, I guess we need to get to science." I poked Bella.

I waited for Bella outside of the school building. She came out soon after I did.

"Follow my tuck to La Push." Bella pressed buttons on her cell phone as she ran to her truck.

                      We drove for a while.

When we got there, we were at a beach.

A tall, dark skinned, long haired boy greeted us.

"Stop growing!" Bella smiled to him. "Jake, this is Evelyn."

"Hey," Jacob put out a huge hand.

"If I shake it, do I get my hand back?" I joked. I shook his hand polietly.

"What'd you two need so urgentaly?" Jacob urged me.

"Werewolf45624," I said. I pulled out the copy of the blog I had printed off in computer lab.

"Oh," Jacob frowned. "Please don't show Billy!"

                       "His dad." Bella said.

"Well, Jacob, is it true?" Jacob glanced toward Bella.

"Well, yes and no. Don't tell any one, except me and Bella, and I guess the Cullens you figured it out." Jacob said.

"Other wise the Volturi will kill you." Bella joked. But, I knew she was telling the truth, no matter how funny it was.

"So the Cullens are?" I said. I gestered with my hands.

                       "Vampires." They said.
