“Thinking of You”

“Thinking of You”

A Poem by Tevin Smith

As I lay in my bed,

I’m thinking of you.

Looking up at the ceiling,

thinking of your radiant smile,

and your peculiar eyes.

Thinking of those innocent hands,

as soft as silk, oh how they caress my mind,

with every touch they seduce my increasing butterflies.

I’m now in a dream,

only me and that beautiful body.

The sight I’m seeing, is like a sight of a land

filled with milk and honey.

Flying across that land,

I as the awkward butterfly,

quietly landing upon you.

A sight and ease.

A spell entangled.

A wonderful grace.

We are now part of a garden,

that is part of a landscape,

that is part of a world,

in which only the two of us share.
