''I'M SORRY, I STOLE THE CAKE MOM''

''I'M SORRY, I STOLE THE CAKE MOM''

A Poem by Tevin Smith

As I sit at the kitchen table
 wondering what to do,
    wondering if i'm able
knowing that if I do it i'll be stable.

My mother had just gone out to buy
the frosting and some sweets,
that would give me time to think
and feast on this treat

I had just sliced a piece
of the cake, putting it in my mouth
noticing my mother as she stood there
knowing that she was angry without a doubt.

Standing over me with a belt
smiling like a sly devil, knowing that she had won
here i lay on the floor in pain and regret apologizing,
i'm sorry 'I stole the cake mom'

                                                                                                  Tevin Smith

lol i know you are
Awwww....
If you would have given this poem spontaneously to your Mom, she wouldn't have minded baking you another one!
After sweet childish thoughts, the end seems devilish, a sudden twist...
