''I'M SORRY, I STOLE THE CAKE MOM''A Poem by Tevin Smith
As I sit at the kitchen table
wondering what to do, wondering if i'm able knowing that if I do it i'll be stable. My mother had just gone out to buy the frosting and some sweets, that would give me time to think and feast on this treat I had just sliced a piece of the cake, putting it in my mouth noticing my mother as she stood there knowing that she was angry without a doubt. Standing over me with a belt smiling like a sly devil, knowing that she had won here i lay on the floor in pain and regret apologizing, i'm sorry 'I stole the cake mom' Tevin Smith
