Mark this love

Mark this love

A Poem by Colleen Margot Lee

Loving forever and

laying in bed, warm, tired, content.

Round lips encompassed with scruff

that tickles my chin

reading Tolstoy almost too quite.

Sipping hot coffee, those eyes

blue and endless,

radiate with anticipation.

Slowly sipping from our

almost too little of cups

nothing is ever big enough.

Hands clasped, grasped

as the whispers of romance

fill my head,

your voice is as velvet

and perfect as the star-rise.

Rumbled sheets

soft under skin

circling us in a nest of cream

never to let us up again.

Your words move like music, so tender, so vivid, creating a world of two one... Your poetry is beautifully introspective. Wonderful write.
