grass stains

grass stains

A Poem by Colleen Margot Lee

longing to be

ribbons of smoke

spiraling from your mouth

so perfect and animated

formless and smooth

needing intake

every hour

without you

nothing

endless bus rides

 grass stains

on pants no longer worn
