in which you were never even created

in which you were never even created

A Poem by Colleen Margot Lee

Where is it all that lies in-between.

all the space that should be filled that is instead haunting with bleak emptiness that leaks through cracks not quite filled.

Reminding with ever ray of deathly cold chill that runs up the spine, relentlessly throbbing.

where that once filled space shrinks around the emptiness that lingers.

so clear your mind but nothing is there and it hurts with memories that beg to be invited back in.

and the shower is biting needles straight into your back stabbing nerves until blackness catches on and drowns away.

A vivid, haunting write of biting emotion and angst... You capture the essence of pain felt in the numbness of our empty shells, walking the earth but never touching the ground... Powerful!
