the street rockers smoke

the street rockers smoke

A Poem by Colleen Margot Lee
"

thinking about things that matter in this empty world the society that influences and hold our freedom, we willing just hand it away. every kiss is goodbye

"
melodies mixed hazy into the afterglow of night
only your afternoon delight
like birds do take flight
into the ongoing swirl of clouds
shift and shape

dark smoke swirling from the ongoing dreams
only destruction does it seem
like the falling of trees
into the bottomless pit
does it hide

notes lingering from the blues being weeped
only blood is being reaped
like the lifeless weak
into nothing does is aspire
ongoing it move

train route crashing straight forlorn
only nothing worth being warned
like the too much worn
into emptiness does it sink
until it becomes

darkness only seen with tips of fingers
only tracing till it does linger
like the dew morning after
into the heat it is erased
never did exist

I don't really get a cohesive image or feeling here. I certainly can't get this to fit with the description you give.
