idle,i

idle,i

A Poem by Colleen Margot Lee

subjected idleness

When nothing else is left to lose in the rigid world

Of electric melting

Colours make no sense or pattern

Inhale madness so sweet it makes you weak

One Image only bearable to comprehend

Bone white useless hand beg

Through eyes frosted and arctic

Hooded forgotten alone

Bottom deep, asylum beginnings

Cutting deep beneath pages read

Red it cries
