He's gone

He's gone

A Poem by girlwithwonders
"

he didn't stay but the memories and pain did

"

You smiled, I smiled

Now all our memoires are locked away and filed

Happiness is nothing but a word without you

It would have been better if you just stayed true

Feel's weird I used to live at your house

Yet you were still sneaking around like a mouse

What you did to me was so cruel

How could you cheat on me and make me look like a fool

You thought I wouldn't find out

But I could ruin everything you're about

I know you like the back of my hand

We even had our future planned

But then you changed you number and I started to move on

Then one day you called me saying you were on my front lawn

We talked for so long about life

It's funny because I know you still want me as your wife

That new girl really think's you like her

She doesn't realize you still need to mature

She doesn't know everything you've been threw with me

We almost started our family tree

Two and a half year's down the drain

Left me with nothing but a broken heart and lot's of pain

But I know all I need to know

So there's nothing left to do but move on and let go

I hate it when it hurts.
Good job telling it...we know....we all know.
