Silent Speechless WayA Poem by witchiekatezI wrote this a few weeks back. It's already in buzzle, my first writing site until i discovered this one.
I’ve been loving in a silent speechless way,
In a language not of sounds but writing and crying of lines and feelings. I’ve been loving in the movement of wind at night; In the quietness of stars and clouds; In the steady wheeling splendor of the moon –I’ve watched, a thousand miles apart, I’ve watched up above the sky, I’ve watched, unfelt by you. In the long deep moment of the night, cool and cold room against the sun; In the flower roughly surrounded by thorns of pain and tears- high upon the hill, And in the sad-faced aimless hope, trotting, detached, aloft, along the side of the road. Whatever thing of beauty that quickens me, quickens the infinite of love within me, And as love is poetry- though soundless, though wordless- I’ve been loving in a silent speechless way that has been me and my usual silent speechless way. © 2008 witchiekatez |
