Admiring stars

The beauty of stars, or in this case "a star"

every night I admire the sky

It's inviting eyes.

the stars

Yet somehow each night

I find myself admiring

the same one, the same star

Out of all the stars

Why do I find you the brightest?

many to see

yet you have bewildered me

so bright, yet so far

I wish for the day

I won't have to admire you from afar

To touch you without hurting my soul

To touch your spirit and heart

Out of all the stars

How come you're the only one

That bewildered my heart and mind

My body and soul
