Let Me Go

Let Me Go

A Poem by wishystar

Let me go
don't say a word.
No goodbye,
no farewell
no last kiss nor hug.

Let me go
to the cold winter night
away from the comforts
of wood burning bright.
No goodbye,
no farewell
no last kiss nor hug.

Let me go
I don't want it anymore
don't give
I won't take
whatever you have.
No goodbye,
no farewell,
no last kiss nor hug.

Let me go,
sweet young love,
let me go.

This is a wonderful poem to write on ANYTHING that gets someone's attention. It's sweet in the sense that it is honest and does not present a lie or hint of hate to push away, but does it in a way to be most respectful and allow the healing on both sides to hopefully take effect from there. Very nice job!! Beautiful wishystar. xoxo -Mark
