Paint the Sky

The skies, the grass, the flowers, the waves

stretching throughout the country

used to be oh, so merry and bright

but now they are dull and gray.

Paint the sky, flower fairies

please paint the sky, water nymphs

oh paint the sky, tree spirits

so the lands will be sweet and joyous once more.

The shells, the sand, the creatures

of the beach,

painted a bright pink and yellow.

The flowers, the trees, the creatures

of the forest,

painted a sweet blue and green.

The clouds, the rainbows, the birds

of the sky,

painted a mellow white and red.

Oh paint the sky,

paint the sky

so the lands oe'r will be beautiful.
