Ashes...

Ashes...

A Poem by Wish!!!

Ashes and more ashes,

Have to fly for years to come

With time turning opaque and darker,

Choking the falling light, that used to be brighter.

The ashes of our memories,

Written with the pen of fire,

Of passion, with desire,

Until your own wordily truths made you a liar.

I don't remember when,

The depth of my trust,

Settled on your sculpted skin deep truth,

In your world I lived, enduring like a mute.

But those who see the depth of a lie,

Can only know the value of truth,

I don't know how deep I stood there,

But I could smell the scent of endless mire.

A will at work can never fail,

Neither under strove of pain,

Nor over the shards of a gullible soul,

It has to walk, through the dark, for the sun of a new dawn.

Oh wow! Stunning work love! The soul has many journeys to venture, can we hold onto the pureness whilst life drags us towards a hurricane!? Excellent poem! xx
