you lie oh so well

you lie oh so well

A Poem by Carlos Ochoa

you lie oh so well
how you do it, you won't tell
you hold the truth but do not share
you wish only for me to despair
to grow lax and free
and enjoy curiosity
the dream is what you threw at me
and i took it so selfishly
i took it twice
i took it three times
when will i learn
oh how you lie oh so well
