Death of a Raindrop

Death of a Raindrop

A Poem by Winter of '97
"

I think the title is conclusive(:

"

From the heavens, Falling, Falling.

Silently wishing for safety.

Sounds rushing, closer, closer.

The material black as night.

Silently dying, bursting, bursting.

Myself no longer whole.

Concrete so cold, lying, lying.

Paralyzed by fear.

Somebody running, passing, passing.

No hope of being saved.

Nobody sees me, dying, dying.

In the yellow of the morning.

I loved it!

I like. You could change 'yellow' to 'sunlight', if you want that is. Otherwise, I think that this is a good poem.
