Hiding in my mind

This is a fictional story written in a diary format.

Dear diary, - 17/7-14

Hey there diary I hope you don’t mind that I’ve never really wrote anything in you and I’m randomly starting today in the middle of July but this is just how I usually am, weird. I really hope you don’t mind me filling up your pages.  So where should I start? At the very beginning?  Yeah sure why not I’ll start at the very beginning just like how every epic saga starts like. No, I’m just messing with you. But really where should I start? Maybe I’ll start from today. Oh yeah, I could totally tell you about my date with Malik today and how romantic he was. Okay, here I go.

“Did you see it?” I ask him while looking up at the dark sky “What?” “Omg, you’re kidding right?” Malik touches my hand gently and I look down on my hand. “You know the shooting star? There was a shooting star here like 2 seconds ago and you’re telling me you missed it?” I lean into him and I wrap my hand around his big beautiful right hand. “I was too busy starring at you” I smile and look up at his dreamy hazel eyes. Perfect. That’s the way to describe my fiancé Malik. He is just so damn perfect, perfect! I hope that he doesn’t mind that I wished upon the star for him to be only mine forever. I know I sound really cheesy but I get really cheesy when I’m in love and I can’t control.¨

After that he drove me home kissed me goodnight and I went home and know I’m sitting here writing in this diary. The reason why I’m writing is because I kind of feel lonely. I don’t really have anyone to talk to seriously besides Malik. Maybe if I’ll start writing in this diary I’ll stop feeling as lonely as I do right know. Besides it would be really fun to have a diary to look into when I’m like 100 years old.

Great job for a first Post! :) I love writing in diaries and the first page is always the hardest since you really, truly, don't know where to start sometimes. Do you want to add a signature at the bottom? Just a thought.

P.S. Malik sounds precious. Whether or not he is fiction. :)
