Excuse yourselfA Poem by Heather
I'm sorry that you misunderstand.
That the majority of you think I choose to be mean. This is me, so take or leave my hand. But I won't change for you, you can but dream. I'm not sorry that you don't like me, For I don't want to be liked or needed. I just want to be able to see, That it's possible for me to not be mistreated. Sometimes it's easier to blame, Than to admit defeat. For not all conclusions are the same, I merely lack the consistency to change it, to retreat. I like to think I'm okay, I'll get by, For it's better to be honest, than a liar and a cheat. © 2016 HeatherFeatured Review
