Traveling through grief

Traveling through grief

A Poem by Jeannine Winklaar

One day I plan to travel to a

place far away it seems, picking

up courage along the way, not

overlooking any nearby stream

I tremble in horror as I realise

the rage that is burning deap inside

wanting to crash on the floor and cry

though too paralysed and empty to try

This path I wish to travel is simply

long overdue Alas it means facing

the abyss that awaits out there...

where the river down the valley goes

I'm scarred, I'm hurt, I'm terriried but

the journey awaits my stubborn heart

that wants to flow, dance and squeel, it

seems - embrace life to it's full exreme

It is a wonderful piece of inspiration. I assume it was partially inspired by your own travels.
