Etxarte

A Poem by Jeannine Winklaar
"

'home in between'

"

Getting away for a bit, seeking

shelter from the rain, looking

for a location not too

far away  Wanting harmony

in - between - countries  Left

with strangers you know, languages

shift on and off, sounding

strangely different, every word

A house in - between - a

place far away from home,

neither here nor there  Left

with your thoughts and wishes...

Where shall you go when

the storm within grows, streams

like wild rivers flow, and

nowhere you can call your own

Love the poem, can completely relate to the need to find a shelter to storm the rain somewhere in between now and the future! :)

Yes, especially when it is a challenge finding the shelter that fits you. Thanks for your comment.
