A thousand links

A Poem by Wings over Waters
"

Exploring the value of Social media..

"
A thousand links
but no connections -
cast adrift in the sea.
It's cold and I shiver.
Smoky air
stains the summer sky.
Hypnogogic voices
whisper unrequited love,
(if love it was),
now just ignored.
All the lies, all
there ever was,
with nothing in between.
A heap of bones,
and a chasm
for you to jump across.
