The Pillion, The Bike N Me (Part 3)

The Pillion, The Bike N Me (Part 3)

A Poem by windtalker1252

I don't wanna go to school
Mom said that's cool
Yup you guessed it right
I was dreaming the sun ready to shine bright

Pillion kind of jumpy
I, my usual self, Mr. Grumpy

The pillion had to be back on time
Celebrate daddy's birthday
Open up Champagne and dine
But we are running late to her dismay

Why is the head so heavy
Sound of the wind so groovy
Eyes hardly  open
Flashes of the last night and what I had done
Yaya I'm sober
Hehe just have a hangover

One of the "dudes" from the four wheel
Shooting the camera off
Hmmm I have still not seen that stuff

Pillion now getting upset
I surely need more rest
But the pillion I could not see sad
I don't know why I just felt bad

I check the bike and get set to go
This cant be right on fuel we are low

What the heck is life without a little adventure
Cant be worse than this life being a disaster

Off we go
A little slow
Need to make a stop
People need to fill their tummy
And I seriously need some tea
In lieu of coffee

Start the engine
Or the pillion is going to throw us all in a dungeon
Naa just kidding
The pillion is just smiling

Ohhh that smile
Only if the bike could see it
She would run without fuel for miles

We get back to talking
I hate to admit it so many of our opinions are matching

Oye whats that I see
One of the "Dudes" from the four wheels
Has been hit by motion sickness oh deary

I have to give it to him
The place was beautiful
Very scenic
Free of all kind of sin

But then I arrived
Biggest sinner of all time
Brains worth a dime
And that's why I prefer to ride than drive

The pillion and the rest of the gang still tending the sick
I take a walk down the slope and keep thinking about the trip

Back on the bike
If we don't find a gas station soon we might have to take a hike

But the company kept the worry ashore
Topic after topic I want more

Finally a gas station
I can now get rid of the tension
The guys in the four wheels have managed to catchup I must mention

Refueled, towards our home we head
I start thinking about Ed Harts poem that I read

We have lost the four wheels to the road
Are they carrying a lot of load???

We stop for them
And they tell us the are ahead of us
Dude u need to learn to pretend

We speed off
To catch up with the driver
Just to realize that we have been way ahead and that I'm a better rider

Our lead continues
We think of stopping just to amuse

But they still did not cross us
Off this again we make no fuss

Talking and chatting
The pillion I proceed
I volunteer to help gift shopping
Done with it my 1 for the year good deed

Hungry is the pillion
Wanted to go to Subway
Realising there is none on our way
I suggest a place one in a million
The pillion is fine with the idea
Me just happy that there is still time to say "See Ya"

If you are wondering where the guys in the four wheels are
They have just arrived when we are almost done with the lunch
So eager they were to get home that did not get out of the car
Hmmmmm why am I thinking of the Brady Bunch

For some reason now I feeling tired
The plan of buying a gift has gone down the drain
Damit its Mothers day
For not going home I'll get fired
I as usual come up with a reason lame
The pillion buys flowers for the mother only after a bargain

Now its time to say good buy
If I say I was not sad I would lie
