Last night, I dreamt of being free

Going home, what a grand sight to see

Nomore counts nor lockdowns

Free from the sound of the lack less hounds

Getting on with my life

Meeting my future wife

Laughing, singing, and dancing

Keeping my head up, just plain trying

My first apartment and car

Drinking ice cold tea from a big jar

Making love for the first time

While staying out and away from crime

I know that I’m going home

But, don’t be fretful I’m not alone

Because I have a loving family

For I know much humility

I must stay out of trouble at all cost

I must earn the trust

The scales are balanced and will give me a chance

I’ll follow the rules with more than a glance

Wanting to go fishing

Wanting to water and mow the lawn

Wanting to go for a ride

Wanting to go now, yet my time I bide
