A wandering wisp a breath of fresh air

Watching the evening unfold, those eyes

Again seeing the root of a soul’s breath

Orbs sparkle with attraction

Helpless chuckles winning conversations fair

Stars glimmer in the mind as Nebraska fireflies

You took my hand; walk with me on life’s footpath

Thru triumphant and failures, these are distraction

 

 

 

A heart heard a soul’s desperation

A chronic disappointment of loves aftermath

Skeptical understanding watchful of spies

With personality, stubbornness, and self flair

 

 

 

Our hearts connected entwined as a spire

Together we laugh, while the world hears our cries

With your heart next to mine, that is my wealth

To my minute existence you give grand satisfaction

Hand in hand we take the next stair

My love thru all time fills the skies

Truly thankful with you in my arms I hath

Loyal in tranquility as water flows without caution
