Misery

Misery

A Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' Kells

Misery

By Windstorm Kells©2005

Living lies, deceit

What happen?

Your promises of forever

A tactical weapon

Falsifications, ignorance

Universal hatred, lonely

Unqualified to blame

Sorrow, misery fuel the flames

Burning brightly

Within a coated shell

Living without hope

Another rejection to store in a jar

Lies, lies, lies

Speak with forked tongued

Yet, could it be true

If so my seed spent

Nothing to come of it

Truly alone

Dreams of light fading

What will be?

Shall come no sooner

Then it should, but why?

Do I get no love?

Only suffering

Please my Gods hear my plea

Someone I can love who is beautiful, intelligent

On the outside and inside

For the good of all

Harming none

Hear my plea

I’m tired of hurting
