Life after Life’s Past

Life after Life’s Past

A Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' Kells

Life after Life’s Past

By Windstorm Kells©2002

What will it be like?

Life after unholy exile

Far from realistic truth

Strange and excitingly new

Will that be the question due?

Or just another fade to black

Missing what once was

Gone from life or not

A crime of epidemic perplexity

Unwilling pushed away

Not one chance for rebuttal

Forgiving them just the same

Finding then losing the few

Who I thought of as close

For I had termed them friends

Now, I’m a quietly forgotten foe

A life sheathed in defense

While blows glance of my face and back

Knocked down, I stand up

Pulled from thick depression

Ready to take round by round

So how will life be?

After what’s happen in the past

I believe it’ll be a blast
