Glimpse

Glimpse

A Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' Kells

Glimpse

By Windstorm Kells©2008

Peeking over the horizon

Rays of new hope

Seen miles away

Troubles newness

Instances of reflections

A lifetime in a flash

Thump-thump

Heartbeats deafening roar

New choices

New chances

Great new things ahead

Others left behind

Behold a tiny flicker

Rising above the hills

Across miles of deserts

Sands of glass

Across waves-

            The world round

Personally would trudge

Just to see you smile
