Intensity

Intensity

A Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' Kells

Intensity

By Windstorm Kells ©2009

A mind folded into a smoky haze

Interrupted by logical thought

Dismissed as a terrible nuisance

Floating upon drops of music

Searching an abscond of purity

As bitter as a sweet sourness

A spirit transfixed upon vibrations

Trouble weights heavily

Want that which brings happiness

Within grasp—still eludes

Tired, so exhausted

A body in need of rest

Tho’ cannot

Wanting thoughtful togetherness

Someone to entrust my heart

Before it evaporates completely

Coherent mind driven to insanity

Lustful of happiness

Yet still eludes

Time such a blathering bother

Allow dreamless slumber

To this wretched lost soul

Bring me peace

With this piece of writing, I found you seemed to be almost jotting your thoughts randomly on paper, but it made sense. That is what is important.
You seem to write almost like you are living in the olden ages, like the seventeenth century or something. The air/tone of thw writing is pleasant and almost relatable. You can see what is happening, even though I'm not sure that this poem is a descriptive one.
All in all, I find this poem amazing. Good job.
