Truths

Truths

A Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' Kells

By Windstorm Kells ©2009

Time an inconsistent haze

Dreams mix with memories harrow

In mirrors of serendipity
clumsy impaired judgment

Yet another day passes in a laze

Intense wonder of tomorrow

A humble man living simplicity

A chaotic life seeking endearment

The isolated room of cent

Voices tumble into eternity

Just for today an arrow

While yesterday stalks in shadows gaze

Awaken from a confining daze

Lift the mists of sorrow

Allow growth not stagnant insanity

Set free a minds confinement

Wander Loki’s soul numbing maze

Suckle sweet life’s marrow

Vanquish depressions vulnerability

Lay your head, to dreams sent

I love this, it has a unique flow and passion to it. The first stanza grapples my attention with ease of flow, and fills my heart with words painted on a canvas...the second stanza mystifies me, as I think about the stated words...the ending flows very well...I love the suckle sweet life's marrow...although different ...but nice...nice write Windstorm bbr

Hmmm....It reads as if the man is willing himself to go forward and mature while looking deeper within for the strength needed. Interesting write. Reading it a second time really absorbs the depth of your words. Nicely done!
