The Dark

Faltering abjective sweet sickness

Roads littered with icy puddles

From pools of fallen tears of bare torment

Existence of time is quite gelid

Worlds of unrest bridged fleetness

Whilst scrambling memory befuddles

Emotional essence swathe in cerement

Deaths embrace day by day pallid

To Pandora’s Box someone flipped the lid

             Allowing unrepentive grotesque embarrassment

Light fails as dark creates guddles

As insomnia realities consumes consciousness

Another soul lay bare by faultiness

Heavily moved only by trundles

The mind enclose bloody disseverment

As the body becomes stolid

The bile erases all bitterness

The soul finds the last rays huddles

Betrayed by darkness’s entrapment

Only to become the lights filid*
