Brigit

A Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' Kells

In my minds eye

A beautiful Goddess, a sigh

With long fiery locks of hair

Her face and body, oh so fair

Lady Brigit, with triple faces

Named, seen in many traditional places

Ancient filid given great inspiration

Taught them many divinations

A poetress of great wealth

Given a silver tongue of health

She does not hate

She knows your fate

The Goddess of fire

Collecting souls from the pyre

Rising into the early morning mist

Smiling, my soul she’s kissed

Falling into the depths of her emerald eyes

Seeing tears clear as September sapphires

For all of mankind’s love

Caressing sorrows from above

Blessed be!

What a wonderful tribute to a truly divine being. I love the visualization that you give in this I could see a very petite yet fiery and strong woman. good job; sometimes it seems so hard to put certain things into words and do them justice and yet you seem to have done it and make it look effortless. Great Job!
