Smile for Effect

Smile for Effect

A Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' Kells

Smile for Effect

By Windstorm Kells ©2008

Raw inspiration

As fall deepens

Winds begin to howl

A frozen outrage

A new day begins

Of bright blue skies

A welcoming sun

Pushing away misery

Lost in daydreams

Twilight wanderlust

Sensing a stumble

Serendipity of reality

Mazes of thought

As time enlightens

Bring a smile

Addictively confuses another

The chance to brighten

The day of others

Even shadows brim

Toss the gloom away

Smile for effect

Bring a smile
Addictively confuses another

i love that description of what a smile can do. When we see others smile it's almost a natural reaction to smile back. Great flow, love the title.. solid awesome for me :)

Catchy title. Yes, this goes to say that a gloomy mood can be pushed aside. I like it.
