Running in My Head

Running in My Head

A Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' Kells

Running in My Head

By Windstorm Kells ©2008

Echoes of choice

Absorb haunted silence

A skeletal hand caresses

As crooked lines mark days

Enigmatic thoughts

Infested livid nightmares

Tears of bloody salt

Insanity consumes logic

A humble spirit

Alone, depression seeps

Smiles forgotten

Death of hope!

Riddled misery

Stubbornly, I struggle

Sapping inner glow

Leaving me hollow

A cold burning spirit

Seen from wakeful eyes

Honor of regret

Fallen lies choke life
