The Musical Wind

My soul rooted firmly upon ground

While the winds whip unruly around.

Fall winds are liked the best

Icy, with a hint of winter’s outburst.

Mind wandering, while wind I savor

Feeling exhilarated, yet wanting more,

Standing a moment, facing the mystery’s of winds gust

Close your eyes feel the oscillation a must.

Heart beating rapidly

The being of myself, complete ecstasy.

Body and soul joined with the rocking of the wind

As if hugged and caressed by an old friend.

The wind creating an electrical surge of power

One moment a gust, the next seems to gather.

Standing in the breathe of wind feeling powerful

Like a battery charged to full.

Gently swaying, hair flowing free

Comprehending the feeling of an old oak tree.

If you listen intently

The wind she sings to you sweetly.

Ahh! I think you have properly captured the invigorating rapture of being out for a walk on a windy day. Well done!
