Vexed Beyond BeliefA Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' KellsBy Windstorm Kells ©2004 Woke to another gloomy day Life seems to get in the way To succeed the high price you pay Alone, I stare at winter’s dreary sway Moving thru life like cattle on the prairie Startled, we move away stupidly, giving up the livery Disliking people seen as unsociable Trudge thru the day utterly lonely, but calmly Moving thru ones own mind unnerving Accepting lies presented without wavering Reason left behind, molding, suffocating Will today have my mind begin evaporating? Pain, suffering, dismay bleeding people dry Hope a shiver of dreams I cry Push the boulder over the mountain on first try A minor gift, yet we pry Disarming thoughts, questions of why Cowering behind beliefs of deciding Unsure, moving forward miserably Falsifications given like metals we’re pacified and led astray
