Here To There

Here To There

A Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' Kells

Warm morning sunshine

Wake up it feels wonderful
A solitary pine

Watch how it succumbs to the wind

An omen some would say

Cries of birds

Barking of dogs

Leaves stir

Feeling alive

The sky sapphire blue

A new day set before you

Passing the thrush hold

Take a deep breathe, feel complete

The car will not start

Put foot to ground, off to market

Sun beaming down upon

A rose and bumble bee

Onward down the street

A shadow walks beside

Watching your feet

Seeing the destination

Bright colors flare from imaginations

A day dream brought to reality

A smile crests lips that frown

Past the house

Down around the corner

When all signs are their

Never pass up a chance to walk

From here to there
