Forgotten

Forgotten

A Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' Kells

Alone

Walking

Endless empty road

Loneliness my comfort

Happiness is torment

Livin’ blindly

No purpose

Confusion

Nothing

Sadly moving on

Arms empty

Wanting love and comfort

Receiving bodiless despair

A husk greets the new day

Hurt

Heartless, soulless

Bound to eternity

Alone

Forgotten

Ne’er to have bliss

Walking tall

Point at the miserable man

Wanting to give up

But small measures of hope

The only sinew

Holding sanity together

Walking

Alone…

This is beautifully written. In the way you wrote this, it seems acrostic in nature. It's too bad that it doesn't spell anything!! ^_^

I loved the shortness of every line. For some reason this poem reminded me of trees in winter, bare and being whipped by the harsh winds. Great write.

So little words,
But so much meaning.
I love how you word it!
I love how you did each line with care,
Or as it seems you did.
Great work!
Keep up with the good work!

I think this is good. You have a way with words. I like how the poem ends. It is sad and yet it gives the reader a chance to believe that hope is out there. Very nice write!
